The library website has links to many tools that can be utilized in the research process.

Starting from the home page, the WorldCAT Discovery bar is a great tool for research.  When searching, it pulls up a variety of source types including articles, books and peer-reviewed journals.

The database link on the homepage brings you to a list of databases relating to different majors.  When selecting the Political Science databases, notice the first five database  have been highlighted as "best bet" options.  Each database has a description line indicating the source types you will find through that database.

LibGuides have been created by the Political Science and International Relations librarian, Vanessa French, to assist your classes.  In addition to links to academic works, there are links to government sources for more statistical information.  Be sure to try to utilize these sources as well!

The BUAnswers link will bring you to a list of frequently asked questions relating to different majors on Butler's campus. If you have a question, be sure to use the chat feature to connect with Information Commons students, who are trained to help you with research questions.
