Education resources are either on South Campus at the College of Education, 4250 Haughey Ave., or at Irwin Library.  Carefully examine the location statement just in front of the call number in the WorldCat Discovery record to see where the item can be found.

Irwin items generally include:

  • Bound education periodicals in print in compact shelving. Current education periodicals are located in the Education Library on South Campus.

  • Books on education theory and methods (check WMS for location; if older, could be compact shelving at Irwin; if more recent, could be on Irwin's second floor, or could be in Education Library on South Campus, depending on cataloguing)

  • Books on reserve behind the Information Commons desk.

Resources in Butler's Education Resource Library in the College of Education South Campus include:

  • most children’s and young adult literature books

  • some reference books covering children’s and young adult literature

  • K-12 textbooks, music CDs, audiobooks, DVDs, and Montessori toys
