Q. Can visitors get on the wireless network?

Basic guest access is normally available in Irwin Library, Starbucks, and many other areas of campus.  ​All library users should follow current Butler University and library protocols. 

During fall and spring normal circumstances, doors to Irwin Library lock most nights at 10 PM, and to gain access to the building after this time, an active Butler ID is required.  

Your device or laptop network will show "BU Guest/Open Wireless" as a WiFi option if it is available. This network will get you online without needing a special Butler logon but you will need to accept the Acceptable Use Policy. Keep in mind, since it is a guest network, the WiFi is limited.
