Newspaper articles can be found in a variety of ways. If you need a specific newspaper, you can use our Journals A-Z or Databases A-Z (which can be streamlined by limiting the database type to "newspapers") to see if Butler has access to it for the year(s) you need. If you just need some articles and the actual newspaper is not as critical, try using EBSCO's Newspaper Source or the New York Times Historical database. We also have many years worth of newspapers on microfilm if you are looking for an older article or issue. The microfilm itself is located in the basement of Irwin library; the microfilm reader is located in the Rich Media area of the Tech Quad on the first floor.

You can also use the Indianapolis Star database to find articles from 1991 to the present. For any articles that you find, if Butler has access to them, you can use the full-text links or our Microfilm Collection to get to the original articles.
