Fair use is an exception to the Copyright Act.
"The fair use exception permits the reproduction of a portion of a copyrighted work without the copyright owner's permission, under certain circumstances."
For further information on what these circumstances are (they get quite in-depth), please see this link!
If you still have questions on the Fair Use policy, feel free to contact anyone at the library or Information Commons!
