Color printing is available via electronic payment only (no cash) for currently enrolled Butler students, faculty, and staff. The cost is $1 minimum for up to 4 pages, 25 cents for each additional page, and must be paid via credit/debit/Apple Pay/Google Pay at the Irwin Information Commons desk.

Details about print, copy, scan policies are located on the library web page at https://www.butler.edu/library/about/policies

The printer is located near the Information Commons Desk in Irwin Library (first floor). Payment must be made before the print job is released.

How to print in color:

  1. Send your print job to the IL_Color_K printer
  2. Go to the Information Commons Desk at Irwin Library.
  3. Pay 25 cents per page, $1 minimum,  for your print job, using credit/debit/Apple Pay/Google Pay  (PrintSmart credit or student ID's can't be used as forms of payment.)
  4. After you have paid, your print job will be released by a library staff member.

There is also a color printer available at the Science Library location.

For professional-quality color printing, large quantities, or printing beyond standard letter-sized pages, we recommend Campus Impressions, Butler's print shop, or Fed Ex Kinko's in Broad Ripple.

For members of the public seeking color printing, Fed Ex Kinko's in Broad Ripple and public library branches are options .
