The library subscribes to a number of streaming video databases.  For a list, please see Videos page of the Find Images & Media LibGuide.

To search for lists of videos through the library catalog, please see the instructions below.

For DVDs, the using the following search in the Discovery search box: (b8: media AND mt:vis) - which refers to items in the media collection with material type of visual materials – will show the DVDs available in the library.

For streaming videos, a search in the Discovery search box for mt:vis will result in a list of physical and digital visual materials in many libraries.  You can then use the limiters on the left side of the page by checking the box for Butler University Libraries in the Held By Library limiter and checking the box for eVideo in the Format limiter to get to a list of streaming videos available through our library.

You can narrow the results list by selecting limiters (shown on the left side of the results page) such as subject, language, time period, etc.
