Alumni with a valid Butler alumni ID card who complete a Special Borrower's application are welcome to borrow from the libraries' collections, access online resources, and utilize public study and meeting spaces.

To Check out Materials:

Butler University Alumni are able to have borrowing privileges. The only requirement to receive these privileges is to acquire an Alumni ID card and then fill out a Special Borrower's form. Once you have a valid alumni ID and a completed Special Borrowers form Information Commons can create an account for you at no additional charge.

An Alumni ID Card Application can be obtained at Jordan Hall 140 for $10 processing fee (check or cash only). Alumni must then submit the application to BUPD to obtain the card.

To Access a Computer:

As an alumni member you also have access to the first floor tech quad computers in the library as well. Just ask the student or staff member at the Information Commons desk and they will be happy to log you in. You can also access WiFi on campus connection to "BU Guest/Open Wireless" network on your wireless device.
