There are two options to create OpenAthens links.  The first is to use the OpenAthens Link Generator Tool.  Paste the URL (without EZProxy anywhere in the link) into form and hit Enter.  The tool should generate an OpenAthens link to the resource that you could copy and paste wherever you need to use it (Canvas, syllabus, email, etc.)

The other option is to replace the EZProxy prefix on existing links from "https://ezproxy.butler.edu/login?url=" to "https://go.openathens.net/redirector/butler.edu?url="

For example, the old EZProxy URL for Cambridge Core is:

https://ezproxy.butler.edu/login?url=https://www.cambridge.org/core/

And the new OpenAthens URL for Cambride Core would be:

https://go.openathens.net/redirector/butler.edu?url=https://www.cambridge.org/core/

*Please note that if replacing the prefix does not work, try using the link generator instead.  Some URLs include special characters that the link generator will encode for you.
