The "Source Type" limiters available in the left column of the Butler Library Search results page limit your search results based on the Publication Type (e.g. Book, Journal) and Document Type (e.g. Chapter, Article) information on each record. Because records might have multiple Publication Types, the Source Type limiters are not mutually exclusive.

The Publication Type of a record is searchable using the field code PT (e.g. PT book), and is visible at the very top of each record, above the title.
The Document Type of a record is searchable using the field code PZ (e.g. PZ chapter), and is visible in the middle of the detailed record page.
